Special steel large round billet continuous casting production line

Our special steel large round billet continuous caster utilizes the core equipment technology of a two-strand, two-machine continuous caster designed and constructed by Danieli. It can produce large cross-section round billets ranging from Ø500mm to Ø1300mm. This production line incorporates internationally advanced technologies including full-process protected casting, tundish electromagnetic induction heating, automatic start-up, eddy current mold level automatic control, automatic mold powder feeding robots, strand electromagnetic stirring, billet heating, laser length measurement, and automatic spray marking robots. It represents a world-class continuous casting line that integrates advanced technology and intelligent operation.

With an annual designed capacity of 300,000 tons, the product line primarily targets new energy sectors such as large offshore wind power and large-scale petroleum service valve bodies. The steel grades produced include high-end manufacturing steels such as wind power ring steel, high-pressure boiler tube steel, oil and gas pipe billet steel, oil and gas forging steel, engineering machinery steel, tool and die steel, energy steel, and industrial bearing steel.
