The Special Steel Bar (Coil) Production Line at Jiyuan Iron & Steel Group is a fully continuous, combined hot-rolling line for bar and large coil production. Key equipment, including the reheating furnace, continuous rolling mill, KOCKS reducing and sizing mill, flying shear, coil sampling system, and bundling machine, was sourced from leading international suppliers such as Stein Heurtey (France), Danieli (Italy), KOCKS (Germany), Siemens, and Sunds (Sweden).
The heart of the line is the German KOCKS reducing and sizing block, globally recognized for producing round steel with exceptional dimensional accuracy. The finished round bars can achieve a precision level meeting or even exceeding the 1/4 to 1/5 DIN 1013 standard, and it enables free-size rolling. The line incorporates advanced technologies such as thermomechanical rolling process technology, full-line digital control, online sizing measurement, controlled rolling and cooling throughout the process, and online non-destructive testing.
